Pause Dialling
When you call automated systems, like banking
services, you are often required to enter a password or
account number. Instead of manually entering the
numbers each time, you can store them in your
Phonebook, separated by special characters, which are
called pauses.
To store a number in your Phone book that contains
pauses:
1. Enter the phone number you want to store, such as
the bank's tele-service phone number.
2. Press the Options soft key and then select Hard
Pause.
The letter "P" displays within the number, meaning
that a hard pause will occur at that point in the
calling sequence.
3. Continue entering numbers and using Hard Pause of
the Options soft key to enter pauses.
4. Store the number in your Phone book as you normally
would by pressing the Save soft key and following
the screen prompts.
