To install the battery, unscrew the cap with magnet and arrow, insert the battery into the headlamp with the positive contact faced forward, and twist the tailcap tightly.
To avoid accidental switch-on, untwist the tailcap at 1/4 turn. As Panda headlamp is high-powered, it is highly recommended to lockout it in case of lengthy transportation.
The headlamp emits a large amount of heat when operating at high power. In order to avoid overheating, the headlamp is equipped with a thermal control system, which gradually reduces the brightness to a safe level, if needed.
