This multifunction marine radio has been designed in accordance with IMO (International Maritime Organisation) standards.     ATTACHING THE BELT CLIP To attach the belt clip to your VHF, slide it from top to bottom into the slot. You will hear it click into place. Belt clip stopper To remove the belt clip, move the stopper away with the tip of your finger then push it upwards.

    GETTING STARTED HOW TO USE 1 – [PTT] : Hold down to transmit. Release to receive. 2 – [ON/OFF] : Hold for 2 seconds to switch the VHF on or off. 3 – [C/16] : Press to select channel 16. Hold for 1 second to select the calling channel. Hold for 3 seconds while the calling channel is selected to enter programming mode.

  • Page 7 Changing the calling channel: Press [C/16] for 1 second to select the calling channel. CALL displays on the screen with the calling channel number. Then press [C/16] for 3 seconds to hear a BEEP which indicates that you can now set the calling channel. Use the [▲]/[▼] buttons to navigate between the different channels.

    NAVIGATING THROUGH THE MENU: The menu is used as follows: Press the [MENU] button to enter the menu. Then use the [▲]/[▼] buttons to select the desired submenu. Press [MENU] again to change the selected setting. Use the [▲]/[▼] buttons to navigate between the different options.
