PRD1000
The PRD1000 is a high performance planar
ribbon driver with very high sensitivity/output
capabilities developed for wide range of
professional and consumer applications were
highest quality accurate sound reproduction is
required.
Unique Features:
Kapton
diaphragm, massive cast aluminum body, direct contact gold plated binding
posts, proprietary cooling technique, symmetrical push-pull Neodymium magnet
system
Driving force directly acts on the diaphragm and is evenly distributed over the
radiating surface providing freedom from break-up resonance, transmission delay and
losses
Flat diaphragm provides the ideal shape for sound radiation, that is frequency
independent, results in even and coherent wavefront, even dispersion, no wave
cancellation, no signal delays, no horn throat related colorations
Purely resistive impedance, virtually free from inductive component
Extremely light diaphragm compares by mass to associated vibrating air volume,
being extremely light it creates ideal condition for sound energy transfer, accurate
signal resolution, very high sensitivity and high frequency output extension
The PRD1000 driver can be used with its standard flat face plate or with specially
designed cast aluminum 70 x 40 horn. The PRD1000 is specifically suitable for true
line source systems that provides appropriate coupling at high frequencies resulting in
coherent, free from distortion and colorations, long throw sound energy beam.
