STANDART BUTTON CONFIGURATIONS

1. THIS BUTTON HAS A DOUBLE FUNCTION!
   If you give this button a quick click it will play back the previous song. However, if you hold this button down it will turn down the volume.
2. PLAY/PAUSE
   Push to play, push once more to pause the groove.
3. ANOTHER DOUBLE UP
   Give this button a quick click and it will play the next track. However, if you hold this button down it will turn up the volume. (potentially increasing good vibes and overall happiness)
4. ON/OFF
   Give a solid couple second hold down to turn on (you will be greated with the sounds of Aloha) -Hold down this button once more to power off. (Aloha also means goodbye) -While powered on click once for memory mode. -Double click for shuffle mode.
5. CHARGING PORT/ COMPUTER PLUG IN
   Insert 2.5mm cord into here -Make sure the flap is always secured when using the speaker in water. -Plug in here and connect to computer to drag and drop songs onto The Barnacle + folder -Make sure to safely eject.
6. MICROPHONE
   This is the Microphone, which makes it all possible for taking hands-free phone calls.

Built with purpose- Our team has mindfully incorporated various prety rad & unique features that we think you can all appreciate. We are sure you will be able to figure out how to use this speaker without reading these directions, but incase you get a bit lost- Take a quick read:

CHARGING

Charging the barnacle is real easy. We have enclosed a USB charging cord, which you can plug into a wall outlet or your computer. The battery is re-chargeable, and allows for up to 5 hours of jamming.

• Wall outlet- you will need to find a power cord with a micro USB or a USB AC adapter. This includes the one typically used for your cell phone.
• Computer- Simply plug the USB end of the cord into your computer

BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY TURN ON, TUNE IN, AND GET LOST

You guys should be frothing on Bluetooth technology. No wires, no worries. The Barnacle uses Bluetooth 2.0, which allows your device to be as far as 10 meters (33 feet) away.

HOW BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY WORKS

Naturally, you will have to use a smart phone, tablet, or computer which has Bluetooth capabilities.

1. Once you bring your Barnacle to life you will see a blinking blue light, this means you're ready to connect.
2. You will then have to search the Bluetooth settings on your device for "The Barnacle". Select/Connect- Then you are cruising.
3. You should only have to do this once. As long as the speaker and your device have Bluetooth turned on, they will automatically connect. Smart Devices have a good memory.

Note: In order to cut off the Bluetooth connection, give the play/pause button a couple second hold down (there will be a sound to notify you that the connection has been disabled)

SPEAKER PHONE

As if you were not on your phone enough, we made it possible to take hands free calls using The Barnacle. We have found this to be real useful for not missing a call while in the shower. We also encourage you to put down your cell phone while in the car. The barnacle can be used as a safer way to take phone calls while driving.

HOW IT WORKS

• When receiving a phone call your music will be paused.
• A voice will annunciate the phone number of the person who is calling you.
• Press the Play/Pause button to both answer and hang up the call. If you just are not too keen on answering that certain someone's phone call, you can hold down the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds and the call will be ignored.
• Once you hang up/dismiss the call, your song will resume.
