1.2 OPERATING PRINCIPLE As shown in Fig. 1, the LS Series LVDTs are 3wire type LVDTs. The two identically wound coils, A-B and B-C as Fig. 1 are contained in the casing. When the extension rod is operated, the core moves in the coils across A-B-C as shown Fig.

LS Series 3.1 PROCEDURE It is recommended that you use the LS Series Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) in combination with the VM-11P/VM-5E, VM-11P/VM-5A or in the configuration shown in Fig.3. A connection example for combination with the VM-11P/VM-5E, VM-5A is shown on page 8. If you use LVDT in combination with the VM-11P/VM-5E, VM-11P/VM-5A, please also carefully read the instruction manual of the VM-11P/VM-5E, VM-11P/VM-5A.
