5. Removing ribbon
(i) Turn on the power of the printer
Power LED lamp on the operation panel of the printer turns on.
(ii) Open the side cover.
Caution
The heat roller assembly (150℃ (302°F)) is exposed when exchanging the ribbon.
To avoid burning injury, do not put fingers in the Heat Roller space.
(iii) Open front access cover.
Gently push the center part of the cover to open it. Be careful not to give excessive
power.
(ⅳ) Hold the take-up spool and feed spool with both hands as shown in the fig. and pull
out slowly.
