Manual for Tech Lift 500
The manual describes the standard model with a lifting height of max. 500 mm. Techlift is designed
for permanent installation indoors or outdoors.
The lifting platform can be used by people with reduced mobility (e.g. walking difficulties, wheelchair
users, people with transport carts/bumpers) to overcome level differences.
Driving on and off takes place at each end of the lifting platform (straight passage). Techlift is
designed and manufactured according to current standards to overcome level differences. The lifting
interval on the Techlift can be set between 30-500 mm depending on local conditions.
When the lifting platform is used, it is assumed that the user has been instructed in the handling, or
that are trained personnel who use this aid/work tool.
Important
• The entire user manual must be read before using the product.
• Installation of the Techlift must be carried out by a Techline approved fitter.
• MAX. load 250 kg, must not be exceeded.
• The lifting platform and ramp must be clean of gravel, fallen leaves, snow, etc. before use.
• The lifting platform is for passenger transport, and must be used in accordance with what is
described in this manual.
• The lifting platform must not be used in case of fire.
• The safety equipment may only be reset by qualified assistance.
• Playing with and in connection with the lifting platform is not permitted.
• A simple and usable »Emergency Procedure« must be described and agreed upon between user
and helper. It must ensure that the user is not trapped on the plate in the event of an electrical or
mechanical fault.
• The lifting platform can be used in the temperature range -20 to +40 degrees
Use
Operation - the lifting platform is operated using the green handles marked up and down, (dead
man's grip) which causes the platform to stop immediately when the handle is released.
Use of the lifting platform is simple and easy to understand even without any prior knowledge of the
product.
Raise the lifting platform from the lowest level 0.
When the lifting platform is in the lowest level, and the ramp is lowered, the wheelchair user can
drive onto the lifting platform unhindered.
