EDGEVIS HD-IP450 HARDWARE INSTALLATION GUIDE Powering the device and switching it on/off The HD-IP450 can be powered using an AC/DC power convertor (supplied) or direct from a vehicle battery. When powering the device from the mains power supply, always use the AC/DC convertor supplied with the unit and NEVER connect directly to mains voltage.
EDGEVIS HD-IP450 HARDWARE INSTALLATION GUIDE Connecting IP cameras The HD-IP450 allows for connection of eight IP cameras via either of the LAN PoE ports located on the front of the unit. Each camera should be connected to the device using standard Ethernet cable and will be powered by the HD- IP450 if they are PoE compatible.

A cellular connection requires the insertion of a valid SIM card. Each of the communication methods are set up using the HD-IP450 web-interface Comms Settings page.
