Make sure instrument status is "Ready" before loading a batch.

On the screen, a flashing cursor on Pair #1 indicates the first patient sample is ready to be scanned.

Scan the barcode of the Blue Baseline Breath Sample Bag.

On the top panel of the device, insert the Blue Baseline Breath Sample Bag into the upper port for

Pair #1.
If the matching LED is lit green, the bag was inserted correctly and the image of the bag on the screen will

change to blue with the barcode number listed below.

Scan the barcode of the Gray Post Ingestion Breath Sample Bag.

On the top panel of the device, insert the Gray Post Ingestion Breath Sample Bag into the lower port for Pair #1.

If the matching LED is lit green, the bag was inserted correctly and the image of the bag on the screen will
change to gray with the barcode number listed below.
Ensure both LEDs are lit after properly inserting the bags in their corresponding sample ports on top panel of
●
the device.
Note: To load more pairs of bags, repeat steps 1 and 2. A batch can be run with 1 to 4 tests loaded, but the
pairs must be loaded in order, starting with Pair #1.
