TROUBLESHOOTING

Using with multiple devices

Your Perfect Blend Scale can connect to one device at a time. If you are having trouble connecting, make sure the scale is not connected to a different device.
The Bluetooth icon on the scale's display should be flashing, and the scale should not display Pour.
If your scale is still connected to a previously used device, quit all of the Perfect apps running on that device. The scale will disconnect automatically.

Connecting and disconnecting manually

You can connect to or disconnect from a Perfect Blend scale manually in the Perfect Blend app. Touch the scale icon to the right of the search box to open the Available Scales list.
The app will display a check mark next to the scale it's currently connected to (Vitamix Scale).
Touch "Vitamix Scale" in the list to connect to or disconnect from it.

Disconnect using the scale

You can force the Perfect Blend scale to disconnect from the device it is connected to by touching and holding the scale's Bluetooth button for four seconds.

Your Perfect Blend scale comes with a standalone kitchen timer.

To set the time

  1. Touch the Timer button. The LCD changes to display 00:00 and 0hr.
  2. Touch and hold the Timer button. The seconds digits begin blinking. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the seconds.
  3. Touch the Timer button again. The minutes digits begin blinking. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the minutes.
  4. Touch the Timer button again. The hour digit begins blinking. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the hours.
  5. Touch the Timer button again. The timer starts counting down. (Note: You can skip setting minutes or hours by touching and holding the Timer button. The timer will start immediately.)
  6. If you touch the Timer button while the timer is running, the LCD display will switch to displaying weight and you can use the scale normally. The timer will continue running in the background.
  7. When the timer reaches zero, the scale will begin beeping and flashing the LCD. Touch the Timer button to silence the scale.
  8. To reset a running timer, touch and hold the Timer button.

Until you turn the scale off, the timer will remember the last value you set and default to that value the next time you set it.
