Using the sample changer in a titration system

2.3.4
The TW 7450 sample changer is connected directly to a computer via a TZ 3840 USB cable (USB type A to USB
type B, included in delivery). The changer is controlled by the TitriSoft titration software. The sample changer has
no address, the communication settings of the changer are 9600 Baud, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit.
If the TW 7450 is connected via the USB cable to a free USB-A interface of the computer, the USB driver is either
-
automatically loaded via the Internet (the PC must be connected to the Internet for this)
-
or the USB driver on the TitriSoft USB stick is installed. If the USB driver of the RS232 converter supplied
with TitriSoft is already installed, it will be used automatically.
In the TitriSoft titration software, the TW 7450 changer is available as a separate object. This object is selected in
the Settings Center under «Configuration»  «Devices»  «Connection» (Fig. 20).
Fig. 20
Under COM Port the virtual COM port under which the changer was installed is selected.
The ID is assigned automatically after scanning the available COM ports.
