To increase the volume of the alarm on the Viceroy WROV60SS oven, you cannot adjust the volume directly. However, you can change the alarm sound tone, which may differ in perceived loudness:

1. When not in any menu, press the '+' and '-' keys simultaneously for 2–3 seconds.
2. Press the icon once to display the default clock sound (tone 1).
3. Press '-' to select alternative tones (tone 2 and tone 3).

Choose the tone that sounds loudest to you.

If your Viceroy WROV60SS oven is not heating up despite the light working, possible reasons include:

1. Key Lock Activation – If the Key Lock is activated, oven functions and thermostat settings are still available, but check if the lock is preventing changes.
2. Damaged Power Cord or Connection – Inspect the power cord and mains connection for damage. If damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified professional.
3. Incorrect Installation – Ensure the oven is installed correctly and complies with safety instructions.
4. Thermal Circuit Breaker Issue – If improperly placed or connected to external circuit devices, it may prevent heating.
5. Internal Component Failure – A faulty thermostat, heating element, or internal wiring issue could be preventing heating.

If basic troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, contact a qualified electrician or the manufacturer’s service agent.

Hi, I was wondering what the symbols at 2 o’clock and 5 o’clock mean. I hope this makes sense. I tried using **** oven on the 2 o’clock symbol but it wouldn’t get hot. I then turned it to the 5 o’clock symbol and it worked. I now understand the symbol at 5 o’clock is **** oven but what does the symbol next to it mean? Also what is the symbol at 2 o’clock. Thanks I hope his makes sense.

The symbol at 2 o’clock indicates that the oven will not start cooking until the set cooking time begins. The symbol at 5 o’clock is the alarm icon, which flashes when the cooking time is complete and an alarm sounds.

The oven tripped out electric mains, and while the fan is spinning there is no heat. This happened after a cleaning cycle. Any ideas as to what is wrong?
