MAINTENANCE Transaxle Belt Replacement When replacing the belts ensure the mower is turned off and the spark plug lead removed. Ensure the engine is not hot, to avoid contact with hot surfaces. Remove the top cover by removing the 4 screws. Loosen the centre bolt on the idler pulley and move the pulley along the slot so the belt is loose.
