Please Read These Instructions Carefully Before Use!
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury, including the following:
[POWER] Button: After plugging in and pressing the [POWER] button, the default selection is ICE CREAM, and LCD screen will light and show "60:00". If no other buttons are pressed, LCD will go off and hold showing "60:00" fifteen seconds later. Pressing the [POWER] button again will return the unit to stand-by mode.
[MENU] Button: By pressing this button, there are 4 working modes to choose from: MIXING ONLY, COOLING ONLY, ICE CREAM, YOGURT.
[TIME + -] dial: Adjust time.
[START/PAUSE] Button: After setting the menu and time, press this button to start the working mode. During operation, by pressing this button, the working mode and time countdown will be paused. If pressed again, the unit will resume in the mode selected and the countdown will resume.
Please make sure the power cord is unplugged.
STEP 1
Prepare recipe ingredients from your own recipe or from the recipe included and add them to the removable bowl (see next picture).
STEP 2
Place the removable bowl into the fixed bowl and slightly turn either way to makes sure it is in position.
STEP 3
For ICE CREAM mode, place the mixing blade into the removable bowl making sure it is in position; for YOGURT mode, mixing blade is not needed.
STEP 4
Place the transparent lid onto the machine and lock it by turning it anticlockwise. Press the [POWER] button to power the unit.
STEP 6
Turn the [TIME+] or [TIME-] knob to choose the working time.
STEP 7
Press the [START/PAUSE] button to start working.
STEP 8
You can add your favorite ingredients while the unit is in operation by opening the refill lid (see below picture).
STEP 9
When done, turn off the machine first, and then pull the removable bowl out.
When the ice cream becomes harder, the mixing motor can get blocked. The motor protection device stops the mixing motor by detecting its temperature and ensures the long life of the motor.
[ICE CREAM] In cases where the ice cream is not immediately placed in the freezer, this ice cream maker performs the following: When the ice cream is completed, LCD will show "00:00", the machine will start the 'keep cool' function; ten minutes later, LCD shows "COOL", the fan motor and compressor start to work for ten minutes. Then the motor and compressor stop working, beeps will be heard to enter standby state.
[YOGURT] When the yogurt is completed, the machine enters refrigeration mode automatically, and LCD shows "COOL". The machine will be in the status of "COOL". We suggest you consume the yogurt within 24 hours.
Always remember to unplug from outlet when finished to avoid an electric shock.
To avoid overflow and waste, please make sure that the ingredients do not exceed 60% of capacity of the removable bowl (Ice cream expands when being formed).
[ICE CREAM] Place finished ice cream into another container using a plastic scoop or a wooden spoon to avoid scratches on the inside of the removable bowl (do not use a metal scoop).
[YOGURT] Yogurt can be eaten immediately after fermentation. Before eating the yogurt, you can add fruit juice, sugar, honey, etc, according to your own taste. If you do not want to eat it right away, store the yougurt into the refrigerator.
Unplug before cleaning to avoid electric shock.

2/3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
In a small bowl, combine the strawberries with the lemon juice and 1/2 cup of the sugar; stir gently and allow to the strawberries to macerate in the juices for 2 hours.

Turn the machine ON, pour mixture into freezer bowl through ingredient spout and let mix until thickened, about 30 – 40 minutes. Add the sliced strawberries during the last 5 minutes of freezing.
NOTE This ice cream will have a "natural" appearance of very pale pink; if a deeper pink is desired, sparingly add drops of red food coloring until desired color is achieved.
Makes eight 1/2-cup servings.
1 cup whole milk
180 g or 6 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
2 cups low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup sugar
Combine the milk and chocolate in a blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade and process until well blended and smooth, 20 – 30 seconds. 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped lemon zest
Combine the sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer without stirring until the sugar dissolves, about 3 – 5 minutes. Cool completely. This is called a simple syrup, and may be made ahead in larger quantities to have on hand for making fresh lemon sorbet. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
When cool, add the lemon juice and zest; stir to combine. Turn the machine ON, pour the lemon mixture into freezer bowl through ingredient spout and mix until thickened, about 30 – 40 minutes. When zesting a lemon or lime use a vegetable peeler to remove the colored part of the citrus rind.
