To read a received message
1 Find and tap .
2 Tap the desired conversation.
3 If the message has not been downloaded yet, tap it.
All received messages are saved by default to the device memory.
To reply to a message
1 Find and tap .
2 Tap the conversation containing the message.
3 Enter your reply and tap
according to which SIM card you wish to use.
To forward a message
1 Find and tap .
2 Tap the conversation containing the desired message.
3 Touch and hold the desired message, then tap Forward message.
4 Select a recent contact from the list or tap
or phone number, then select from the suggestions that appear. If the
recipient is not listed as a contact, enter the recipient's number manually.
5 Edit the message if necessary, then tap
buttons according to which SIM card you wish to use.
To save a file contained in a received message
1 Find and tap .
2 If the message has not been downloaded yet, tap it.
3 To save an audio file, touch and hold the file you want to save, then select
the desired option.
4 To save an image, double-tap the file you want to save, tap , then select the
desired option.

Messaging settings

You can change message notification settings and select whether to enable
message delivery reports.
To change your message notification settings
1 Find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications > App info.
2 Tap Messaging > App notifications > Messages > Sound.
3 Select an option or tap
4 To confirm, tap DONE.
You can change the Importance level for receiving message notifications. If the Importance
level is set to Low or Medium, there is no notification sound. To change the Importance
level, tap Importance and select an option.
To enable or disable delivery reports for outgoing messages
1 Find and tap .
2 Tap , then tap Settings.
3 Tap the Delivery report slider to enable or disable the function.
After delivery reports are turned on, a check mark is displayed for messages that have been
successfully delivered.
