    Installation and Setup Manual Issue 3 Spirent VisionWorks 7528 Probe When controlled by a Spirent OSS or other system, a VisionWorks Probe access on an Ethernet switch is an example of RTU mode access. For example, during a passive (monitor) access, the OSS sends commands to the switch which cause it to mirror a port or VLAN to the passive test access port.
