Use

Replacing the batteries

• Open the battery compartment.
• Insert the batteries (2x AAA) into the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment.

Setting the mode

The backlight lights in different colours depending on the selected mode. If no button is pressed within 6 seconds, the backlight will be switched off automatically.

• Press the mode button.
• Press the up/down buttons to adjust the settings.
  Setting order: time mode > temperature mode > date mode > timer mode > alarm mode.

Time mode

The display shows "TIME".

• Press the up/down buttons to adjust the settings.
  Setting order: 12/24-hour format > hours > minutes.
• Press the set button to confirm each setting.

Temperature mode

The display shows "TEMPERATURE".

• Press the up/down buttons to switch between °C and °F.

Date mode

The display shows "DATE".

• Press the up/down buttons to adjust the settings. Setting order: year > month > day.
• Press the set button to confirm each setting.

Timer mode

The display shows "TIMER".

• Press the up/down buttons to adjust the settings. Setting order: minutes > seconds.
• Press the set button to confirm each setting.
• After exiting the setting mode, press the up button to start the timer.
• If the timer reaches "00:00", the alarm will sound for 1 minute. Press the up/down buttons to pause or resume the alarm. Press any other button to stop the alarm. Simultaneously press the up/down buttons to reset the alarm.

Alarm mode

The display shows "AL".

• Press the up/down buttons to activate or deactivate the alarm function.
  Setting order: hours > minutes.
• Press the set button to confirm each setting.
• If the alarm sounds, press any button to stop the alarm.

Sensor function / Mode lock function

• To activate the sensor, set the sensor switch to the "ON" position.
• Set the mode lock switch to the "ON" position to use the sensor to switch between the different modes.

Note: If the mode lock switch is in the "OFF" position, the backlight will light in the colour of the selected mode only.

• Before pressing any button, set the mode lock switch to the "OFF" position.
• To deactivate the sensor, set the sensor switch to the "OFF" position.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
• Do not clean the inside of the device.
• Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
• Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp cloth.
