into the Air Purifier. The filter should have
arrows on the side to indicate air flow and
the direction the filter should be placed
back into the unit.
6. Ensure the disk on the back of the front
grill knob is facing flat side out. Figure 2.
Place the latches over the arms on the
unit and gently push the front grill back in
place. Twist the knob until the Hunter logo
is facing up.

HOW THE HEPA SYSTEM WORKS

Ionizer
Dust and other irritants are pulled into the air
purification system by the fan. The carbon
pre-filter attracts larger particles like, pet
dander, hair, and odor causing particles and
traps them on the pre-filter. Smaller particles
such as dust, mold, and pollen pass through
the pre-filter and are captured by the HEPA

filter. Up to 99.97% of particles as small as .3
Microns can be captured. The ionizer charges
any remaining particles causing them to
clump together and fall to the floor or surface
where they can be removed by cleaning.
Clean, purified air is then released into the
room through the side grill. (Figure 4.)

POSITIONING YOUR AIR PURIFIER

Your new Hunter Desktop Air Purifier can be
setup to operate either standing up or turned
on it's side. To run the Air Purifier on it's side:
1. Turn the unit off and unplug from power.
2. Locate the Rubber Feet located on the side
of the Air Purifier. Figure 4.
