Hearing Aid Compatibility

The hearing aid compatibility option ensures that your device's audio performance is
compatible with standard hearing aids.
To Enable or Disable Hearing Aid Compatibility

From your Homescreen, tap

Find and tap Settings > Call > Accessibility.

Drag the slider beside Hearing aids to the desired setting.

TalkBack

TalkBack is a screen reader service for visually impaired users. TalkBack uses spoken
feedback to describe any events or actions performed on your Android device. TalkBack
describes the user interface and reads out software errors, notifications, and messages.
To Enable TalkBack

From your Homescreen, tap

Find and tap Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack.

Tap the slider, then tap OK.
To change speech, feedback, and touch preferences for TalkBack, tap Settings.
TalkBack launches a tutorial immediately after you enable the feature. To exit the tutorial, tap
the Exit button twice.
To Disable TalkBack

From your Homescreen, double-tap

Find and double-tap Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack.

Double-tap the slider and then double-tap OK.

TTY (Teletypewriter) Mode

The TTY (Teletypewriter) feature on your device allows people who are deaf, hard of
hearing, or who have speech or language disabilities to communicate using a TTY device
or a relay service.
To Enable TTY Mode

From your Homescreen, tap

Find and tap Settings > Call.

Tap Accessibility > TTY mode.

Select the applicable TTY mode.
