When not in use, first remove the Li-ion batteries from the device. Then store the Sigyn MkI and the removed batteries in a cool, dry place with a relative humidity of less than 75%. The operator in command is responsible for managing directions, range, and battery level as well as monitoring messages and alerts displayed by the associated controller. Exclusively use accessories such as battery chargers authorized by Sky-Hero. Using unapproved accessories will void warranty coverage. 4. WARNINGS | GCS MkII CONTROLLER Keep away from fire, wet and dusty environments. To clean or dust your controller, use only a dry cloth.
Page 11
In order to clean your device, please use ONLY a dry cloth. No liquids or detergents should be applied to any part of the product as this may cause serious damage. Inspect the body structure and the camera glasses for visible damage and debris prior to drive. Examine the wheels to make sure that they are in the correct position. Check that the battery cover is properly attached. Never use the product without his battery cover. SKY-HERO | SIGYN MkI OPERATOR’S MANUAL | V.1.0 | June 2023...

Make sure you have properly inserted the dedicated Li-Ion 18650 batteries with sufficient charge to complete the mission, ideally with at least 50% charge. Inspect the GCS MkII for visible damage prior to operation. Ensure that the GCS MkII controller is suitably charged for the mission. Verify that both devices are associated in a proper Sky-Hero software version. Only use accessories that came with the Sigyn MkI sUGV, or which are sold or authorized by Sky-Hero for use with the ground robot. Using unapproved accessories presents serious risks to safety and will void the product’s warranty. If any part of the ground robot or the ground control station fails to function correctly or has visible damage, do not operate the Sigyn MkI.

3. SIGYN MkI HARDWARE An operator-friendly robot that provides teams with superior scouting through two ultra-sensitive Day- Night cameras. While 150-degree views allow for an impressive scope, dimmable IR LEDs on the front, back, and top of the vehicle provide video clarity and NVG lighting. The Sigyn MkI is not weatherproof. It may be slightly splashed but cannot be immersed in any liquids.

STEP 2 - Once the GCS MkII’s status LED turns green (14), it’s time to calibrate the battery. In order for the GCS MkII to have the best estimate of the percentage of battery life remaining, it must be calibrated during system initialization. The remote control will only display the exact percentage once the battery has been calibrated, otherwise no indication will be displayed (« - - - % » will be shown on the top right corner of the GCS MkII screen). Pages 9 & 25 Unplug the charger and wait 5-10 seconds before starting calibration. Turn On the GCS MkII by long pressing the ON/OFF button (1) 3. Enter the menu (press D Button (5)), navigate and select the «GCS Settings Menu» 4. In this last menu, select “Calibrate Battery”. Once selected simply confirm by pushing the right joystick/J2 (3) to the right, and this will start the calibration process. Once done, the battery percentage is displayed by replacing --- %, with 100%. 4. EMERGENCY BEHAVIORS 4.1 L onnecTion In the case where there is an unintentional loss of communication between the GCS MkII and the sUGV (extensive range, or GCS MkII turned off), the actively controlled Sigyn MkI will automatically stop. Any other connected, but non-communicating sUGV/sUAV will keep its state. In all cases, the devices will keep broadcasting Audio/Video on the set video channel and power. Any changes to settings done in the GCS MkII, regarding a non-communicating device, will only be effective once communication with the device has been re-established .

1. STORAGE Knowing how to store your drone properly can extend its useful life. Keep in mind these tips for best storage practices: 1.1 p erforM iSuaL nSpecTion Before you put away your Sigyn MkI after an operation, you should always check it over for signs of wear. This is a simple, visual once-over, that takes a matter of seconds, but can help you catch minor issues before they become major ones. Look over the outer shell for cracks or any other signs of damage. Check for any loose screws. Check the wheels for any damage or debris, and inspect the camera lenses for dust and dirt. Also, check the battery bay.
Page 45
Use only a soft, dry cloth and/or a dry soft bristle brush to wipe down the Sigyn MkI body and wheels. Do not apply any liquids of any kind which could weaken the various parts of the vehicle. So, do never use any water, abrasive cleansers, detergent or chemicals. Also do not apply any kind of lubricant or grease to the moving parts of the vehicle, especially the wheel bearings. 3. FIRMWARE UPGRADE In order to optimize the performance of your Sigyn MkI sUGV and GCS MkII controller, Sky-Hero will provide firmware updates on an ongoing basis. When a firmware update is available, you will receive a notification directly from your local distributor or via Sky-Hero’s official communication channel. 6. Then safely remove your Micro SD card from your computer. Do not use any updated firmware release that does not have been directly provided by an official distributor or Sky-Hero, because you may end up with an incorrect, buggy or simply not working version.
Page 48
9. Switch off the remote control and remove the Micro SD card (13). An upgrade to your remote control or ground robot will not break the bonding, and the connection process will still be possible after the upgrade is complete. If you would like to upgrade your entire system, it is recommended that you upgrade your remote control first and then upgrade your sUGV.
