Rear Plane PLANNER 510 4 - Equipments preparation, adjustments and operation 4.1 - Plane Coupling and disengaging to the Tractor ST with mechanic blade rotation ST with hydraulic blade rotation Electro valve function selector . Electro valves function selector. Hydraulic Hoses a) Approach the tractor to the Plane heading and connect the hoses (1 e 2) to the tractor remote control as follows:...
Page 14
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 Electric Control (functions selector) Rotation Displacement b) Position the functions selector panel (4) (4) inside the cabin or operation platform. Note 1: the panel has magnetic bed, attaching itself in any metallic surface. OBS 2 - cabin tractors: pass the cable (3) in an appropriate place for this.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 a) Activate the blade inclination cylinder so that it remains parallel to the ground. To do it, put the selector (D) at "Inclination" position and activate the cylinder with the lever (34) from teh remote control. b) Activate the Plane lifting cylinder Plane to support the blade on the ground.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 4.3 - Wheels Ballasting (with water) The Plane wheels ballasting is recommended to allow more firmness and stability to the Plane set. The tires (14-9-26) used on the HD Plane, allow the introduction of 182 liters of water each, which give a good ballasting. The tires (12-4-24) used on the ST Plane, allow the introduction of 114 liters of water each, which give a good ballasting.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 4.4 - Wheels Opening Adjustment (gauge) The smaller gauge could be used if necessary only to carry it on load vehicles with maximum width of 2,4 m of its platform. For all working situations, it is necessary to use the bigger gauge (pic.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 4.5 - Blade Rotation Adjustment 1 - Pull the rope (1), to unlock the positioner arch lever(1A). 2 - Incline the blade (2A), locking the corner under the ground. 3 - Move the tractor forward or backward, according to the desired rotation, keeping the lever activated.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 5 - Adjustements and Operation 5.1 - Hydraulic Controls Use Cylinders: C1 Side Displacement C2 Blade Lifting C3 Blade Rotation Cylinders C4 Blade Inclination Cylinder Remote Control Levers 12- Hydraulic cylinders control levers (C1 and C2), according to the left selector position (E).

Rear Plane PLANNER 510 5.2 - GTS Plane Recommended and Non-recommended Applications - NON-Recommended Applications: Trunks move. Anything that represents excessive loadings, especially on the side edges of the blade. Recommended Applications (See description on the sequence): A) Levelling B) Planishing C) Drainer Channels Opening D) Terrace Construction or conservation in contour line.

Rear Plane PLANNER 510 5.4 - Operation Techniques A) Levelling* It is to level a ground, which is, with the surface in a certain angle. The picture below represents a typical situation, where the dotted line repre- sents the level and quota in which we want to let the ground. The work is basically to give consecutive passes from top to down, contro- lling the blade depth to get the profile of the dotted line.
Page 25
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 B) Planishing* It is to let a soil flat, even, which is, a surface with a flat finishing, regular. Examples: Roads construction or conservation, dikes, gorges and sluits closing (holes and channels generated by spates and erosion respectively), etc.
Page 26
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 C) Drainage Channels Opening Fig. C1 Pic. C2 For this operation, it must incline the blade for one of the sides and controls its depth, according desired depth to the channel or the tractor traction capacity. The number of passes will depend on the channel size.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 6.2 - Tires Calibration and Cares The tires assembly must be done only by ex- perienced people and appropriate tools. A wrong assembly may explode the tire during calibration, and may cause serious injuries and even death. It is safer to trust this job to a professional one.
Rear Plane PLANNER 510 6.4 - Blade Maintenance The blade act of cutting, is performed by the edge (1), that it is replaceable. It cannot be sharpening, and should be replaced when presents abrasion and makes it difficult to perform the job. The edge is attached to the blade through a pair of screws, which nuts must be tighten on the torque of 293 N/m.
