The shower drain is not supplied, these illustrations are for reference only. It is recommended that you review the drain installation from the manufacturer before continuing.
  • Page 9 BASE INSTALLATION INSTALLATION DE LA BASE INSTALACIÓN DEL PLATO A. Apply cement (1” to 1 1/2” [25 to 38mm] thick) within the traced contour of the shower base. This will help level the base in subsequent steps. The thickness of the cement layer varies depending on your floor. B.

At the locations where you will screw the shower base to the studs, it is recommended that you use wood shims to fill the gap between the base flange and the drywall. B-C.

Measure the location of the existing shower plumbing (shower handles and shower head), as exemplified by the measures W1, W2 and W3 below. B. Before installing the wall panel (A), drill holes at the measured location for the existing plumbing on the wall. Use a hole saw drill bit to neatly cut through the wall panel.

Remove the tape from the back of the wall panel (A), take out the 2 pieces of shelf support foam (C) from the wall panel (A). B. Apply tub surround adhesive at the rounded edge of each piece of shelf support foam (C), firmly push the shelf support foam (C) back into the wall panel until they are flush with the back of the wall panel.

Install the bottom support strips (D) at the flanges of the base. B. Apply tub surround adhesive to the corner support pad (B) and the bottom support strips (D). A.

    HOW TO DISASSEMBLE THE SUPPORT BARS COMMENT DÉMONTER LES BARRES D’APPUI CÓMO DESMONTAR LAS BARRAS DE SOPORTE HELPFUL HINT: The top and bottom support bars (F1 & F2) are secured to the wall tracks (A & D) with a spring-loaded pin. They can be easily disassembled following the below steps.

Ensure that all is leveled. Position the frame such as the center of the wall track will be located on the center line of the shower base.

If there are no studs located behind the wall track (A & D), then insert the wall anchors (AA) using a rubber mallet until the wall anchors are flush with the wall. A.

Hang the door panel (C) by inserting the 2 top rollers (H) into the track of the top support bar (F1). B. Gently push down on the bottom rollers (I), which will move the wheels down, allowing the wheels to lock into the track of the bottom support bar (F2). C.

    SEALING SCELLAGE SELLADO Ensure that the door closes tightly and opens smoothly. Ensure that there is a firm connection between the fixed panel(s) and the support bar. Apply a clear silicone water sealant around the outside perimeter of any fixed shower components. Allow 24 hours for silicone to dry. Improper application of silicone sealant may cause your shower to leak.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE TRAITEMENT ET ENTRETIEN CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO For the daily maintenance, use a wet cloth and a soft liquid cleaner. Never use abrasive cleaners containing some acetone, chlorine or strong bleach, scrapers, metallic brushes, nor other objects or the products which can graze or tarnish surfaces.
