• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
• People with disabilities, such as impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions,
or who are physically frail, should be assisted by another person when using this scale.
• Do not step on the scale if you weigh more than 330 lb (150 kg / 24 st). When in doubt contact
your physician.
• Do not weigh more than one person on the scale at one time.
• Do not use this product for any purpose other than weighing human beings.
• Place the scale on level flooring, otherwise it may tip.
• The product may have sharp edges. You could get injured.
• If the glass platform is damaged, there could be risk of danger or injuries caused by broken glass.
CAUTION:
• This unit is intended for home use only. It is not intended for professional use in hospitals or
other medical facilities. This unit does not support the standards required for professional use.
• Please note that technically related measuring tolerances are possible, as the scale is not cali-
brated for professional medical applications.
• If a battery has leaked do not touch the battery fluid. Avoid skin contact (e.g. put on protective
gloves) and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
• Carefully step on the scale surface. Pay attention to avoid stepping with your toes under the scale
surface. This might lead to injuries.
• Do not disassemble this unit.
• Do not put your fingers in any slot, inside or under the scale.
NOTICE:
• Protect the scale against hard knocks, moisture, dust, chemicals, major temperature fluctua-
tions and heat sources which are too close (e.g. stoves, heating radiators). This may damage
the unit. Please see section 6 "Cleaning, maintenance and disposal" and section 7 "Technical
specifications" for details.
• Do not use any aggressive solvents, cleaning agents, detergents or any other strong chemicals
to clean the device.
• Never immerse and or spill water or any other liquid onto the scale, otherwise liquid will enter
the scale and cause damage.
• Do not wash the scale in a washing machine, dish washer or tumble dryer.
• Always use the size and type of battery indicated.
• Never use rechargeable batteries. This may damage the unit.
• Replace weak batteries before it discharges completely. When "Lo" appears in the display please
change the battery.
• Leaking batteries may damage the device. If you do not intend to use the scale for longer periods,
remove the battery from the battery compartment before placing the device in storage.
• To avoid draining the battery do not place any items on the scale (Please make sure that there is
no weight on the feet of the scale) when not in use.
• Batteries can contain toxins that are harmful to your health and to the environment. Always dis-
pose of batteries in accordance with applicable local regulations. Do not dispose of batteries
with normal household waste.
• Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with
local regulations.

the functions. If you need to have the unit repaired, please contact our customer service. Please
see warranty for service contact. Before submitting any complaint, first check the battery and
replace it if necessary.
• Changes or modifications to the device will nullify the user warranty.
