Recording (DECK A)
When recording,use
the DECK A.
Manually level control recording
This unit has record level volume to adust the record lewl. Usually, the vclume has a center click. When it reached the center click position, the
tapes can be recorded normally. lf the sound source signal is too strong, a red spots will be appeared in the record lerel indicator. You can adjust
the record lerel rrclume to left position and vice \€rsa.
In normal state, the sound source lerel is between the red and green spots (that's OdB).
1.
Press the STOPiEJECT button and insert a cassette.
2.
When CrO2 tape is used for recording, press the REC CrO2 switch
3.
Press the record button The lewl meter at the peak lewl indicator wrll shift and the REC light will be lit up indicating that recording rs underway
4.
Press the STOP/EJEC'i button to stop trcording ata any time.
Pause
Press the PAUSE button to momentarily stop tape travel during recording. Re-nress the button ior pause release and recording restart.
Dubbing operation (DECK B --> DECK A)
This unit enables you to dub a recorded tape to anther tape by using the buift-in double deck mechanisms. lt is performed only one way from the

Preparation
1.
Insert a cassette for plapack in DECK B.
2.
Select tape DIRECTION button (FFWD or REW) for the desired loca'
of the tape to the beginning.
3.
lnseft a cassette into DECK A.
1.
Select the dubbing speed by the dubbing High speed switch.
5.
There are two dubbing speeds: High speed and Nornal speed. High speed doubles Normal speed.
6.
For high speed dubbing, press the High speed switch. The light at the indicator wrll be lit up and high speed dubbing is then activated.

Normal speed dubbing requires no pressing of the High Speed Switch. No light wrll be shown at the indicator at all.

Press the PAUSE button of DECK B.

Then. oress the PLAY button of DECK B.
10. Press the RECORD button of DECK A.
11 . Press the PAUSE button again of DECK B to release the pause mode. The unit will start the synchronized dubbing operation.
12. To Stop dubbing operation. press the STOP/EJECT button of DECK A.
NOTE: Do not change dubbing speed during dubbing operation.
