Reading and storing the user manual This user manual comes with the 20 V Li-Ion Cordless Grass Trimmer FAR 20-Ia (hereinafter referred to simply as “grass trimmer”). It contains important information on safety, usage and care. Read this user manual carefully before operating the grass trimmer.

Before first use Before first use Checking the grass trimmer and package contents 1. Lift the grass trimmer out of the packaging with both hands. 2. Place the grass trimmer on a level, stable base, e.g. on a workbench. 3. Check that all parts are included in the delivery (see Fig. A and B). 4.

Adjusting the additional handle To ensure an optimal working position, adjust the additional handle on the grass trimmer as necessary. Always ensure that the teeth on the additional handle and the bracket are properly engaged, and that the additional handle is firmly fixed in place. 1.
