Life is too short to drink anything less than excellent coffee. So if you love a great cup, this ESPRO Press will be your new best friend.
Your ESPRO Press uses our patented micro-filtration system to seal out grit so you always get a clean, rich cup of coffee. The design also stops the coffeeextraction process as soon as the filter is pushed down, so your last sip tastes just as great as your first. And ESPRO's glass is designed to be 40% thicker than a traditional press, so it stays warmer and is more durable.
If you are not satisfied with an ESPRO® product when you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform over time, you may return it to your local representative for a repair, replacement, or refund. Damage due to improper use, lack of cleaning, or wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge. This is a factory guarantee, limited only by any applicable local laws, and does not cover incidental, consequential, or special damages.
[1] Screw the tea filter onto the rod.
[2] Add loose-leaf tea.
With an 18oz ESPRO Press P5 or P3 we typically use 1-4 tablespoons (T) tea (5-10g) and [3] fill with hot water (202°F/94°C) to the (MIN) fill line, or 1.5-5T/7-12g tea when filled to the (MAX TEA) line.
With a 32oz ESPRO Press P5 or P3, we use 2-6T/10-14g (MIN), or 2.5-8T/12-22g (MAX TEA).
[4] Stir with a wooden or plastic spoon, never metal.
[5] Cover with filter and lid. Leave the plunger raised and the opening opposite the spout. Wait 2-7 minutes.
[6] Press filter down slowly.
[7] Align opening with spout and pour. After each use, clean filter inside and out.
[8] Remove lid, rod, and filter.
[9] Unscrew filter from rod.
[10] Remove the glass from the cage.
[11] Hand wash with a bottle brush or sponge.
All parts are dishwasher safe on the top rack, unless you bought a copper ESPRO Press P5. Copper parts should never be placed in a dishwasher – hand wash only. Deep clean your ESPRO Press monthly: www.espro.ca/cleaning

PLEASE READ.
HOT: Contents are hot. Handle with care and keep away from children.
BURNS: Always use loose-leaf tea. Never use for matcha tea or Turkish coffee. Always start with clean filters. Always stir before pressing. Don't press too fast or with more than 10 lb/5 kg of force. Pressing too hard may cause hot liquid to burn you.
SAFETY: Do not place on a stove or campfire, or in a microwave.
GLASS: If you ever see a deep scratch or crack in the glass, stop using it immediately and get a replacement. Use only loose-leaf tea. If the safety tab becomes detached or loose, stop using the beaker immediately and get a replacement. Using a dishwasher may reduce the lifespan of the beaker.
CLEANING: If you don't clean your filters, you risk getting burned by hot liquid. Separate and clean filters inside and out after each use. Hand wash inside and out with a bottle brush or sponge. Except for a copper cage and lid, all parts are also dishwasher safe on the top rack. Reassemble after cleaning all parts.
COPPER CARE: The P5 is available in either copper or stainless steel. Like all copper products, the copper parts of the P5 are never dishwasher safe. The lid and cage must only be hand washed.
ACCESSORIES & PARTS: Extra tea filters are available for your ESPRO Press, as are optional coffee filters and paper filters (for the flavor of pour-over style coffee). Filters and seals may also wear out over time. For accessories or replacement parts, please contact your local retailer or visit www.espro.ca.
