    UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONTROLS Your stove comes standard with four different controls. Understanding them and their recommended usage is essential for a positive cooking experience. Damper control (p. 9 figure 1). Pulling up on the damper control handle opens an access hole from the fire box directly into the flue.
