The CHERRY HC 2.2 is a headset for gaming, streaming, conference calls or listening to audio files.

For your safety

Risk of accident due to earpieces blocking out sound from the environment

• Do not use the headset in situations where you need to hear signals or warnings (for example on public roads). This also applies when the sound is muted.

Hearing damage due to excessive volume

• Turn down the volume before putting on the headphones and then adjust the volume to a comfortable low level.
• Do not use the headphones for lengthy periods at high volume.

Avoiding damage

The magnets in the speakers can wipe storage media and damage mechanical watches

• Do not place any storage media such as magnetic cards or external hard drives, or mechanical watches within 10 cm of the device.

Avoid damage to the device due to moisture or high temperatures

• Do not use the headset in damp conditions (e.g. in the rain).
• Keep the headset away from high heat and strong sunlight (e.g. in the car).

Connecting the device to the PC/ laptop

• Insert the USB plug into any USB socket of your PC/laptop.

Adjusting the volume

The volume adjustment buttons are on the front and back of the left earpiece.
When pressed briefly, the volume changes by one level, when held down, the volume increases or decreases continuously until you release the button.
When the highest or lowest level is reached, a signal sounds.

Connecting the microphone

• Plug the microphone into the jack socket on the left earpiece. Make sure the square protrusion on the plug slots into the recess of the socket.

This means the microphone is fitted with the microphone facing your mouth.

Adjusting the headset to your head size

1. Slide the lower parts of the headset with the earpieces into or out of the headband until it sits loosely on your head.
2. Turn the pads of the earpieces until they comfortably enclose your ears.

Installing software

To use the full functionality of the CHERRY HC 2.2 Corded Gaming Headset, you must install the CHERRY audio software on the PC or laptop.
Using the CHERRY audio software you can configure the Virtual 7.1 Speakers, adjust the sound using the equalizer or adapt the microphone to your needs.
The CHERRY audio software is intuitive to operate and includes a help function. You can also contact our support if you need.

1. Always use the latest software.
2. Load the software as a free download from: www.cherry-world.com or www.cherry.de.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Cleaning the headset

NOTE: Aggressive cleaning agents or liquid in the device may damage it

• Do not use solvents such as benzene, alcohol, scouring agents or abrasive scourers.
• Do not let liquid get into the device.
• The earpads can be removed for cleaning.

1. Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth and a little mild detergent (such as washing-up liquid).
2. Dry the device with a soft, lint-free cloth.

If the device does not work

• Unplug it from the PC/laptop and plug it in again.
• Use a different USB port on the PC/laptop.
• To make sure the headset is not defective, test it on another PC/laptop if possible.

Device disposal

• 
  Do not dispose of devices with this symbol in household waste.
• Dispose of the devices in accordance with statutory regulations – at your local dealer or at municipal recycling centers.
