SAFETY

  • By ignoring the safety instructions themanufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove thestickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
  • When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour willoccur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.

USE

  • When closing the contact grill, make sure the top plate is correctlypositioned on the lower plate.
  • Ensure at all times that the lock function is not in use when openingthe grill.
  • During use, the trays and the shell are very hot, Avoid any contact, asit can seriously injure you.

Closed, grill and panini function

  • Set the thermostat at the desired temperature.
  • Plug in the socket, the red and green indication light will light up. Leave the device closed without any content to preheat. When the green indication light will go off you will be able to start grilling.
  • Now place the prepared ingredients on the bottom grill plate and closethe grill by pressing the handle downwards. The upper plate tilts in order to provide even pressure. Normal preparation time is 5-8 minutes; the exact time depends on the dish, the set temperature and your personal taste. Because the device is closed the baking process is faster.

Open to 180 °, an open grill

  • The device can also be used as an open flat grill for grilling meat, fishand vegetable dishes.
  • Just press the switch to the side of the handle and flip the lid back.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool bothhalves open.
  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasivecleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
  • Remove and empty the fat collecting tray after each use and wash thetray in warm, soapy water.
  • Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. Thedevice is not dishwasher proof.
