OPERATION    
1. Before   t he   S olar   M otion   L ight   c an   o perate   t o   i ts   f ull   c apacity,   t he   S olar   P anel   n eeds   t o   b e   i n   s unlight   f or   3   d ays  
to   f ully   c harge   t he   i ncluded   b attery.   C harging   s hould   b e   d one   w ith   t he   u nit   i n   t he   " OFF"   p osition.  
2. Located   a t   t he   b ottom   o f   t he   B attery   H ousing   ( 5)   t here   i s   a   s witch   w ith   t hree   p ositions:  
Turn   the   switch   to   "AUTO"   position,   the   light   will   turn   on   automatically   at   night   when   motion   is  
detected   b y   t he   M otion   D etector   H ead   ( 6).  
Turn   t he   s witch   t o   " ON"   p osition,   t he   l ight   c an   b e   u sed   a s   a   s tandard   l ight   f or   c onstant   i llumination.  
Turn   t he   s witch   t o   " OFF"   p osition,   t he   l ight   w ill   r emain   o ff   a nd   w ill   n ot   d etect   a ny   m ovement.    
HOW   T O   U SE   C ONTROL   D IALS  
The  Solar  Motion  Light  has  3  different  control  dials  which  control  the  light's  duration,  
sensitivity   t o   l ight   a nd   s ensitivity   t o   m otion.  
LUX   ( LIGHT   L EVEL)

The   LUX   Adjusting   dial   (9)   tells   the   sensor   the   level   of   darkness   that   must   be  
reached   b efore   t he   l ight   t urns   o n.

TIME

The   T IME   A djusting   d ial   ( 11)   s ets   t he   d uration   o f   i llumination   t ime.

The   TIME   is   adjustable   from   8   seconds   to   2   minutes.   Rotating   the   dial   clockwise   will   increase   the
illumination   t ime.  
SENS   ( SENSITIVITY)  
This   d etermines   t he   r ange   o f   m otion   d etection:  
1.
Minimum   p osition   –   L ow   R ange.  
2.
Mid   P osition   -­‐   N ormal   s etting.  
3.
Maximum   p osition   -­‐   M aximum   r ange.  
 
LOCATION   O F   S OLAR   L IGHT  
For   best   results,   please   locate   the   Solar   Panel   from   your  
COB   Solar   Light   in   a   position   where   it   can   absorb   direct  
sunlight  on  the  solar  panel,  and  generally  free  from  cover  
and   s hade.      
 
TROUBLESHOOTING  
If  the  Solar  Motion  Light  does  not  illuminate  when  movement  in  front  of  the  sensor  is  obvious,  please  observe  
the   f ollowing:    
Ensure   t he   s olar   p anel   i s   i n   a   l ocation   w here   i t   w ill   r eceive   m aximum   s unlight   d uring   d aytime   h ours.    
Ensure   t he   l amp   h ead   i s   a way   f rom   o ther   l ight   s ources.   O ther   l ight   s ources   a t   n ight   w ill   p revent   t he  
  level,   t he   l ight   w ill   g o   o n   i n   d aylight.
