INSTRUCTION MANUAL Discharge Gun Mount (03-00061B)

1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the discharge gun mount (03-00061B). The product is intended as a
mount to attach a discharge gun for ESD tester calibration. It is compatible with our discharge
guns GT-30R(A),TC-815R,TC-815S.

2. Instructions

Please read this manual for safety information before use. For safety instructions and warranty
terms, refer to the instruction manuals for the static electricity tester and discharge gun. The
product should be handled by persons who understand this manual and static electricity testing
procedures for the safe use of the product.

Installation

.
Follow the steps below to install the discharge gun mount to a target mounting board
(03-00052B) or Faraday cage (FC-200).
(1) Fix the discharge gun mount to the target mounting board by using two screws supplied with
the product (M4×25 with spring washer/flat washer).
In case of fix the discharge gun mount to the Faraday cage, using two screws supplied with
the product (M4×16 with spring washer/flat washer).

  • Page 3 (3) After placing the discharge gun on the mount, attach the rubber band as shown below. Rubber band Hook the end of the rubber band. Pick up the end of the rubber band. Strap the rubber band on the handle Completed (rubber band hooked) portion of the gun.
