    PTZK-VBX CONTENT 1. Overview Multidyne Pan-Tilt-Zoom Mounting Kits use the Versatile LightBrix modular interface to securely attach a PTZ camera onto a VB enclosure, and to a tripod or ceiling (for a fixed installation).     INSTALLATION 3. Installation 3.1. PTZ Camera Preparation Most PTZ cameras are designed with mounting holes on the bottom side. The PTZK-VBx Camera Plate has been designed to accommodate most camera brands. The first step is to attach your camera to the PTZK-VBx Camera Plate. Screws for this are not included; you need to refer to your camera installation instructions, which specify the type of screws and maximum penetration allowed.
  • Page 5 INSTALLATION 3.2. Tripod Preparation Next is attaching the tripod platform plate to the PTZK-VBx Tripod/Ceiling Plate. Most tripod heads come with a sliding or quick-lock platform plate as shown on figure B below, and include the ¼-20 or 3/8-16 captive screws to attach the plate to your device. You will need nuts of the corresponding size* to fix the platform plate to the PTZK-VBx Tripod/Ceiling Plate as shown below.
  • Page 6 INSTALLATION 3.3. Attaching the PTZ camera to the VB enclosure Place the PTZ camera assembly on top of the VB enclosure. Ensure that the connector side of the camera is on the same side as the connector side of the VB enclosure. Use eight of the sixteen 4-40 x 1.4in long pan head screws to attach them as shown on figure C.

Attaching the tripod plate to the VB enclosure Do the same thing with the tripod plate assembly and attach it to the other side of the VB enclosure using the remaining eight 4-40 x 1/4in long pan head screws.
