IMPORTANT: The Blender Base comes with a black plastic cover installed over the Sound Cover attachment tabs. See Fig 1. 2. To use the Sound Cover, the black plastic cover needs to be removed. Place your fingers under the front section on both sides of the plastic cover, pull the cover outwards and lift upwards.
