Changing the keyboard layout
→ Languages and types, select a language, and then select a keyboard layout to use.
Tap
On a 3x4 keyboard, a key has three or four characters. To enter a character, tap the
corresponding key repeatedly until the desired character appears.
Additional keyboard functions
• : Enter emoticons.
→ QWERTY KEYBOARD: Switch to the qwerty keyboard.

• → 3 x 4 KEYBOARD: Switch to 3x4 pinyin mode. To enter a character, tap the
corresponding key repeatedly until the desired character appears.
• : Open the text editing panel.
