This contactless voltage tester is used to test alternating electric fields.
It can detect voltages in insulated cables, e.g. spot cable breaks.
AC > 50 V
DC > 120 V
Above these voltage limits: life-threatening electric shock if touched.

Low battery: the ready-to-use indicator LED flashes
Check the voltage tester is safe and intact on a regular basis (e.g.
examine for damage to the housing or deformation).

All LEDs light up briefly when device is switched on.
