Mailbox Placement Guidelines
Standard USPS mailbox requirements state that;
"A mailboxes' point of mail entry must be located between 41 – 45"
above the road surface, and that the front of the mailbox be
between 6-8" away from road edge. "

The incoming mail area on all locking Mail Boss
curbside mailboxes is located between 6-11" above
the bottom of the mailbox, depending on your
model. Please measure the height from the bottom of
your mailbox to the point of mail entry on your
speci c model. Take that additional height into
account when setting your post and installing your
Mail Boss mailbox.
