    The status LEDs give information during discharging as well as during charging. If the red LED is on during a discharge, the batteries are almost empty and the device (BAT500) must be charged immediately. If the LED flashes red, the battery is empty, the device must be switched off and the batteries must be charged, otherwise the device goes into safety mode.
