• 25-Second Electronic Skip Protection (ESP)
Automatically stores 25 seconds of music information during play to
prevent interruptions caused by shock or vibration.
• 25-Track Programmable
Store up to 25 of your favorite CD track selections to be played back in the
order in which they are programmed.
• Shuffle Play
Plays all selections on a disc in random order, ignoring the sequential order
in which they were originally recorded.
• Bitstream Digital-to-Analog Conversion
The most accurate method of Digital-to-Analog conversion, Bitstream
converts information one bit at a time. A single "1" or a single "0" is
processed rather than a combination of 16 "1"s and "0"s at once. Since this
1 bit converter must choose from only one of two possible values, instead
of 65,536 as with a 16 bit converter, there are no errors.
• 96x Oversampling
Provides digital filtering to reduce noise and contributes significantly to the
sound purity of compact discs.
• Next/Previous Track Search
This two button feature offers the opportunity to go back to the previous
track or go forward to the next track instantly.
• Repeat One/All
Selection of this feature, based on user preference, repeats one track, one
disc, or a pre-selected program.
• Introscan
Plays the first ten seconds of each track on a disc providing a quick
overview of the disc contents. Play can be started at any time by pressing
the PLAY button.
• Search with Sound
Audible "bits" of sound can be heard while searching backward or forward
within any CD track.
• Auto Power Off
Automatically disengages the transport mechanism and turns off the system
at the end of a digital compact disc.
• Resume
Allows play to restart where it was stopped. In this mode, the CD player
memorizes the last played position on a disc.Then, as long as the lid has not
been opened, upon pressing the PLAY button, the laser mechanism returns
to the last played position and resumes play.
• Hold Switch
Activating this feature deactivates all other function buttons until the
HOLD button is pressed again, thereby preventing interruption of the music
should another button be pressed accidentally.
