SAFETY INFORMATION 1. The sand filters are designed to work with water at minimum temperature 4℃ and maximum temperature 35℃. The filter should never be operated out of range of temperature limits, otherwise damage may occur. 2. The installation should be carried out in accordance to the safety instructions of swimming pools and the specific instructions for each facility. - Page 3 2. Install the drain plug assembly to sand tank as below pictures. 3. Press and turn the sand tank to mount it to sand filter support with correction direction (drain plug is at outside as below picture). 4. Insert the tube with the diffuser body inside the tank as above picture, then place the funnel on the tank’s mouth and pour the quartz sand into the tank (sand weight 19kg).

5. Take away the funnel, and then clean really carefully the tank’s neck and fix the valve with O- ring through flange clamp set. (the direction of “PUMP” port on valve needs to face pump out port) 6. Connect the sand tank to pump with hose, hose clamps and hose adaptors. START THE SYSTEM Before starting the application of the filter, make sure this one is well positioned out of swimming pool under the water level. -
Page 5: Winter Storage
The swimming pool has to be refilled with water until half of the skimmer height. The water must arrive to the pump by natural flow. Change the valve position to the BACKWASH position. Make sure that the joint WASTE a tube that makes the water drain is connected. Start the filter only after this moment. -

INFORMATIONS DE SECURITE Les filtres à sables sont conçus pour fonctionner à une température minimum de 4°C et maximum de 35°C. Le filtre ne doit jamais être utilisé en dehors de ces températures limites ou il risque d’être endommagé. L’installation doit être réalisée dans le respect de toutes les instructions et normes de sécurité applicables aux piscines et des instructions spécifiques à... - Page 12 2. Installer le bouchon de vidange sur la cuve comme montré ci-dessous. 3. Appuyer sur la cuve et la tourner pour la monter sur son support, et corriger son orientation (bouchon de vidange à l’extérieur comme montré sur le schéma ci-dessous). 4.
- Page 13 5. Oter l’entonnoir puis nettoyer soigneusement le goulot de la cuve et fixer la vanne avec son joint à l’aide de la bride de serrage (la sortie de la vanne marquée « PUMP » doit être à la verticale de la sortie de la pompe) 6.
- Page 14 pompe par écoulement naturel. Mettre le sélecteur de la vanne en position BACKWASH. S’assurer que la sortie WASTE de la vanne est munie d’un tuyau de vidange. Ne démarrer le filtre qu’à ces conditions. Démarrer la pompe pour faire un contre-lavage (BACKWASH) pendant 2 à 3 minutes. Juste après, arrêter la pompe, mettre le sélecteur de la vanne en position RINSE.
