Remarks:

  • GP ReCyko+ batteries do not require a recharge prior to first use. They are charged before shipped.
  • GP ReCyko+ batteries come with good capacity retention. Remove the batteries and unplug the charger once the charging is completed. Do not leave batteries in the charger for extended periods. Always unplug the charger when it is not in use.

Charger Features

Read the instruction manual thoroughly before use. Keep the manual for future reference.

Charging Instructions

  1. Charge either 1 or 2 pieces of GP ReCyko + AA batteries at a time.
  2. Slide cover and open the battery compartment (Fig. 1).
  3. Insert 1 or 2 GP ReCyko + AA batteries into the charging slots according to the polarity indications (Fig. 2).
  4. Insert the battery compartment into the charger. A click sound will be heard as a signal for proper position.
  5. Connect the AC cord to the charger and plug it into the power source (Fig.3).
  6. Red LED will light up with power connection.
  7. LED turns green once charging is completed. The charger will then switch to trickle charge.
  8. LED will flash in RED if alkaline, carbon zinc, lithium, rechargeable alkaline or damaged batteries are mistakenly placed in the charging slots.
  9. Unplug the charger once charging is completed. Remove the battery compartment from the charger by moving it frontward (Fig. 4).
  10. To charge other electronic devices, select the correct connector, connect one end to your electronic device first and then connect another end to the USB cable (Fig. 5). The device can be instantly used while charging is in progress. Unplug the USB cable from the electronic device once charging is completed.
  11. Please ensure the Mobile Power Pack is unplugged when not in use. Mobile Power Pack will continue to consume power if the connector and USB cable are connected.
  12. The charger can serve as an AC adaptor to USB power port for charging various electronic devices via the USB cable and connectors (Fig 6).
  13. The USB power port is still usable while battery charging is in progress. Battery charging time may vary subject to the power consumption of the electronic device in use.

For best performance and optimal safety, charge GP ReCyko + batteries with GP ReCyko + Charger / PowerBank.

warningAttention

  1. It is normal for batteries to become warm during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature after being fully charged.
  2. For best result, use GP ReCyko + Charger at room temperature with good ventilation.
  3. Charging time may vary based on different battery capacities. (Refer to the Charging Time Table)
  4. Remove batteries from an electrical device if it will not be used for a long time.
  5. Battery storage temperature: -20ºC ~ 30ºC Charger operation temperature: 5ºC ~ 35ºC

  1. Charge GP Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries only. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
  2. Do not charge other types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon zinc, lithium, rechargeable alkaline or any other unspecified batteries, as they may leak or burst, causing personal injury and damage.
  3. Never use an extension cord or any attachment not recommended by GP, as this may lead to a risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
  4. Unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting to clean or when not in use.
  5. Do not short circuit batteries.
  6. Do not wet, incinerate or disassemble the charger and batteries.
  7. For indoor and dry location use only. Do not expose the charger to rain, snow or extreme conditions.
  8. This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.


Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
