STEP 4 - INSTALL U-BRACE ONTO 5MM POSTS. USE 1 SHIM UNDER EACH SCREW HEAD...

STEP 5 - NEXT INSTALL THE BATTERY BAND HOLDER SCREWS CAREFULLY INTO THE U-BRACE. ***IF THE FIT IS A LITTLE TIGHT, WE RECOMMEND SEALING THE CARBON AND REAMING OUT CAREFULLY WITH AN X-ACTO BLADE.

STEP 6 - USE A SUPPLIED SOCKET HEAD SCREW TO PRE-THREAD THE SET SCREW HOLES. IF THEY’RE TOO TIGHT, REAM THEM OUT A BIT AND USE GREASE TO LOOSEN.

STEP 7 - ONCE THE HOLE IS REAMED AND LOOSENED, YOU CAN INSTALL THE SET SCREW. LEAVE APPROX. 1MM OF THREAD ABOVE THE CF BRACE FOR ADJUSTMENT RANGE.

STEP 8 - INSTALL THE SPRING PERCHES. USE A DROP OF LOCTITE OR CA TO ASSURE THEY DON’T COME LOOSE FROM THE SET SCREW.

STEP 9 - INSTALL THE SPRINGS. SILVER IS A GOOD PLACE TO START (BLACK IS SOFTEST, BEST FOR HIGH BITE. GOLD IS STIFFER, BEST FOR LOW BITE).

STEP 10 - INSTALL REAR BRACE WITH SPRINGS...

STEP 11 - INSTALL THE LINKAGE. USE 2 SHIMS BETWEEN THE U-BRACE AND LINK. THIS WILL LEVEL THE LINK OUT.

STEP 12 - INSTALL THE BLACK TRI-SHOCK ADAPTER...

***SETUP TIPS*** A GOOD STARTING SPOT FOR THE SHOCK POSITION IS TO USE THE STOCK BLUE SHIM HERE. THE HIGHER THE POSITION OF THE REAR SHOCK, THE SLOWER THE SPEED OF RESPONSE OF THE REAR POD. HOWEVER, MORE ANGLE MAKES THE CAR FLATTER. RAISE THE FRONT TO MAKE THE CAR SMOOTHER, LOWER THE REAR TO MAKE IT REACT QUICKER.
