    When the controller is on, the power assist will be applied immediately when you step on the Pedal. It is, therefore, recommended to mount your Commuter with the controller off. After you are seated, make sure no weight is on the pedals to prevent accidental movement, then turn on the controller.

    11. Service Your Commuter has many advanced parts and components. Many bicycle service and repair tasks require special knowledge and tools. Do not begin any adjustments or service on your bicycle unless you are able to properly complete them. Improper adjustment or service may result in damage to the bicycle or cause serious injury.
