Carefully remove your toaster from its packing. You may wish to store the packing for future use.

Safety
1. Ensure the mains lead kept clear from hot objects and surfaces.
2. Ensure close supervision when operating toaster while children are present.
3. Always allow the toaster to cool completely after use before storing it .
4. Ensure bread fits easily into the slots before using toaster. Torn or thick bread can cause the toaster to jam.
5. NEVER attempt to remove bread if it becomes jammed in the slots, without first unplugging the toaster from
the mains supply. Allow to cool completely before removal.
6. Take care not to damage the internal mechanism when removing bread.
7. Internal parts can be easily damaged. Do not touch the internal parts of the toaster with any implement.
Special Note:
When the toaster is plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a slight burning odour, as the
heating elements warm up. This represents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the appliance.
When using for the first time, allow the toaster to heat up until the odour clear.
It is advisable to first operate the toaster without placing bread in the slot.
1.Connect the toaster to the mains supply and switch ON.
2. Set the browning control to the lowest setting (1).
3. Press the loading handle down and allow the heating elements to warm.
4. Allow elements to heat up until burning odour clears.
5. Press CANCEL button to release loading handle.

How to use the toaster
1. Ensure the toaster is connected to mains supply and switched ON.
2. Place 4 slices of bread into the toasting slots and press down the loading handle until it latches.
3. The toaster will heat up automatically and start to tasting.
