This model requires PoE+ / 802.3at. The standard 15 watt PoE (802.3af ) is not su cient. One cable goes from
the camera to the power supply, and a second cable goes to your NVR, switch or router. (12V DC / 2A also works)
Using the camera with a Sharx NVR: No need to set IP addresses. The NVR displays live video on an HD
monitor or TV attached to the NVR. Recording is started automatically as well.
Using the camera without a Sharx NVR: A wide variety of PC/Mac software and apps are supported, including
Milestone, Luxriot, SecuritySpy, Titanium. Contact us for the most recent list and for setup help. Each camera
needs a unique IP address, typically con gured with the SmartManager PC software (from our web site)
A Mac or PC that is temporarily set to 192.168.30.100 can also be used to con gure the camera without software
