OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Model ACC-1005
30dB RF Power
Amplifier
®
The LuxLink
Model ACC-1005 is an RF Power amplifier with a
nominal power gain of 30 dB. It is designed to amplify the output of a
fiber optic receiver when driving low impedance 50 ohms loads in a
wide variety of applications.
Technical Specifications
Bandwidth
1MHz to 150 MHz (-3dB)
Power Gain
30dB typical
In/out Impedance
50 ohms
Typical Input Level
+4dBm (0.35V rms)
Maximum Input**
+10dBm (0.7V rms)
Maximum Output
+30 dBm (50 ohms)
Operating Power
+18 to +24 VDC @ 0.5A typical
Temperature range
0 to 50 degrees, C
All specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
**
Do not apply more than +10dBm to the input or damage may
occur.
This unit is designed to operate into a 50 ohm load. To avoid
damage do not apply an input signal to the amplifier with the output
load disconnected.
When operating at full power output the ACC-1005 will get warm. Be
certain to allow adequate air circulation around the integral heat sink.
