For your safety and to ensure a correct operation, we would like to bring to your attention some aspects of this manual: • This booklet supplies useful instructions for the correct operation and maintenance of the product. It is therefore necessary to pay the utmost attention to all of the paragraphs that illustrate the most simple and secure way to operate and use this product.
INTRODUCTION This manual contains all the necessary information on the installation and operation of the fork- mounted crane jib. Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians. If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer. Also included in this manual are a number of safety instructions to create a safe working environment.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 3.1. Explanation of the safety decals Make sure that all the safety messages are legible. Replace damaged stickers asking the manufacturer for new ones. If the part to be replaced bears a sticker, ensure that a new sticker is applied to the new part. Take care to avoid being struck by or walking into an overhead load (REF 123TA5325).
In the event that equipment, procedures, work methods or working techniques are used that are not specifically advised by the CAM attachments company, it is necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operator or other people.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE 1. Storage The fork-mounted crane jib must always be stored in a dry, frost-free and temperature-controlled environment. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not store this product outside in a wet environment. Store the fork-mounted crane jib in a safe place and make sure it can’t fall over. Lubricate metal parts with an anti-corrosive agent (REF 166TA1570 or REF 143TA6901).
• The assembly and installation must be carried out by an expert. • Make sure that the goods and packaging are in good condition. • Before commissioning, carry out a risk analysis on the assembly of the CAM attachment with the forklift.
COMMISSIONING • The lifting device with attachment installed needs to be approved for use prior to commissioning. • Be sure to obtain the manufacturer’s certification concerning the residual capacity of the lifting device, after installing the attachment. • Provide a capacity table within sight of the driver from the lifting device. 6.1.
• For safety reasons, arbitrary adaptations or modifications to the equipment are prohibited. • In the event of non-envisaged workmanship or intervention or following a procedure different to that indicated in the manual, consult CAM attachments before proceeding in order to ascertain its feasibility.
• Do not lift loads on inclines or gradients. • Make sure that the load cannot move or fall. • Before using the crane jib, carefully read the instructions in the manual of your lifting device. 7.2. Operating instructions Please see chapter 8 for the daily maintenance schedule. Perform the daily maintenance check before each use as described in chapter ‘8.3.
MAINTENANCE A fork-mounted crane jib is a lifting device. Comply with the obligation to perform periodic inspections if required according to national legislation. 8.1. Safety instructions for the maintenance of the product • For maintenance, place the fork-mounted crane jib in its lowest position to the ground. Switch off the vehicle’s engine and remove the key.

3. Cleaning Only clean the equipment with a cloth dampened in a soap solution (REF 131TA5500)* or TotalSource wipes (REF 147TA3378). Do not use solvents, petrol, strong detergents etc. If the equipment is heavily soiled, the use of a pressure cleaner is only permitted providing that it is set to a maximum of 200 bar.

FINAL DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL Final, proper decommissioning or disposal of the product must be performed in accordance with the regulations of the country in which the product is used. In particular, regulations governing the disposal of batteries, fuels and electronic and electrical systems must be observed. Waste packaging should be sorted and put into solid dustbins according to the materials and be collected by the local special environmental protection bureau.
