Battery
1.
Installing and removing the battery:
a.
Press down on the battery cover to open it.
b.
Ensuring line up the battery terminals (+ and – icons) and the direction of the arrow
on the label, insert the battery into the camera accordingly.
c.
To remove the battery, invert the unit so that the battery slides out of the cavity.
2.
Charging:
a.
Connect the device to a computer or power adapter to be recharged.
b.
Connect directly to the car charger to be recharged in the car.
c.
The device must be powered off to be charged.
Wi-Fi control
1.
Search for and download the "XDV" application, available from both the Android and
Apple application stores. Once the application has downloaded, allow it to install and
the icon will appear on your device's dashboard.
2.
Enable Wi-Fi on the camera:
a.
Navigate to the "Wi-Fi" menu and press the "OK" button to enter. Select "open"
and the screen will show the Wi-Fi icon, SSID: ********, PWA2: ********.
b.
Press the UP button to return. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smart device and
search for the camera in nearby Wi-Fi networks.
c.
Enter the Wi-Fi password (listed after PWA2 in the camera's Wi-Fi settings) and
confirm the connection. The LCD on the camera will show the Connected icon and
a MAC address will be visible under Wi-Fi settings.
d.
Open the installed "XDV" app client on your smart device and search to add the
camera ID code. Once completed, video and photo functions can be used over Wi-
Fi.
