Quick Start Guide
(1) Introduction
WatchNET Access's WAR-BLU-HITKEY are a mobile smartphone access control ID solution. Based upon the proven
contactless digital radio frequency identification (RFID) platform, the readers interface with a wide range of
electronic access control systems by complying with either the legacy Wiegand equipment or the latest bi-directional
Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). In addition to traditional proximity credentials, such as clamshell cards
and key tags, the platform also offers the option of mobile access credentials loaded on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
enabled smartphones. This allows the smartphone to function as a contactless electronic access control credential.

Reader can be powered by the access panel.
(7) Powering up Reader
1. When Reader is powered up reader will beep 1-time and blue LED will turn on.
2. When presenting a card that is not registered on the system, reader will beep 3-times with a blinking LED
of color Green.
3. When presenting a card that is registered on the system, reader will beep 1-time and Blue LED will change
to Green for 5 seconds and will go back to blue as standby.
