  • Page 5 Installation 1. Install the pipe work (X) to suit the dimensional drawings in the front of this booklet. 2. Secure escutcheon (A) to the wall using screws (B), ensuring it is central to the pipe work (X). 3. Screw elbows (C) onto the pipe work (X), captivating escutcheons (D).
  • Page 6 Installation 4. Position the elbows (C) so that they are in line as shown. 5. Push the dual control valve (E) over the chassis (A) and secure with set screws (F). 6. Screw the captive nuts (G) onto elbows (C) ensuring the rubber washer (H) is captivated.
  • Page 7 Control Assembly Instructions 1. Screw handle (A) onto spindle (B) using screw (C) and washer (D). 2. Push indice (E) into the handle option (A) to conceal the fixing. 3. The octagonal nut (F) can be rotated to the desired angle. Note: The taper on the spindle (B) will lock in to the female taper in the handle option (A).
  • Page 8 5. Ceramic cartridges in hard water areas. To prolong the lifespan and reduce servicing periods of your Samuel Heath tap we recom- mend that a suitable water softener be fitted. Consult your installer/designer for details.
